I'm another UK poster - live in Surrey, work in London (Baker Street - close to Sherlock Holmes's famous address and Madam Tussaud's!).
I have a 70-minute commute into work every day.

Hi,
It's nice to be joined by somebody else from Amsterdam on Deskdemon. I work in Amstelveen for IP (advertising on RTL 4, RTL 5 and Yorin). Where do you work?

I'm from Surrey, but work in Holborn, London.
By the way, where do you get the moving smiley faces from in some of the replies?

In addition, you can add them in the message by using [ and type the word and close with another ]. Under the FAQ's section, there is a list of icons that are available to use. Missed this thread earlier...I'm from Livonia, Michigan, 30 miles west of Detroit. Company I work for is 4 miles away in Farmington Hills, Michigan. My boss is Scottish, and I'm only recently not asking him to repeat things all the time--I'm actually understanding the accent. I speak a little German--beginner class only. Movinonup
