I've just noticed that our postings seem to be an hour ahead of time.  I thought this would have automatically updated and not have to be manually fixed.

I thought standard time did not go into effect until November 1st this year.

UK and US change their time on different dates.  I assume it will change when the US changes their time.  If it doesn't then, I will get someone to look into it.

Timings still seem to be one hour out here in the UK, not sure what the US are seeing.

Is it forward and hour, or an hour behind?

It's 6pm here so my posting will probably show 7pm.

Point taken that the timings are out, but Gee, is it really such an issue?  I must admit I don't even really look at the time someone's posted something!

Susan,

That seems to be sorted now, thanks.

And yes Jackie, it is important.  Your watch is the right time, as is your clock, your mobile and your pc.  It helps when checking the forum home page so see the latest posting on any topic.  It was annoying to see a posting appear at 4pm when it was only 3 o'clock.

Can we get this fixed?  Same thing is happening, postings are showing as one hour behind.   Undecided

Has been like this for some weeks.

The UK has just changed to British Summer Time so that could be the problem.

But, Gee, if nobody alerts us, then it's unlikely to be picked up quickly as you may or may not be aware, but the time changes that go on across the UK and the rest of Europe all happen at different times, rather than over one weekend.  It may be that DD are waiting until these are complete before altering the times.

Susan, over to you and the techie guys.

My posting timings have been wrong for months - something I noticed but it did not bother me although I did wonder why.

However, since posting on the DD boards after our clocks went forward recently (in the UK) my posting times have been spot on  Smiley

Cathy your last posting on here shows 12.51pm.  Is that correct?  If not, then postings are out by 1 hour.

However as Jackies says, may be the issue is being addressed.
