Do comic books count?  Karen Page from Dare Devil (before the drugs)

Della Street from Perry Mason - am I that old?

Chloe from 24 - she rocks - not quite sure she's an admin!  I can download anything to a PDA!

I love the Josh Lyman, Donna Moss relationship from the West Wing.  Also love Roz from Monsters Inc - she's terrifying!

Miss Dipesto, Moonlighting - remember that one with Cybil Shepherd and Bruce Willis?

Atlanta,

Perry Mason still often shows on UK TV stations frequently.  Della Street is just perfect.  As is Miss Moneypenny, naturally.

After I posted I kicked myself for not thinking of the Bond secretary - but then I had a blond moment and couldn't remember her name!  And isn't it interesting that no mentioned Ugly Betty.  What about Miss Hathaway from the Beverly Hillbillies (also Lily Tomlin in the movie)

My all time favorite was definitely Delores Landingham...executive assistant to the President in West Wing.  She's the EA that I aspire to be.  Totally unflappable, totally loyal, always on top of everything, always respectful yet not taking any guff even from the President.

I was always sorry they killed her off.  She was a great character.

I just had to add one more - Janie from The American President (it was on last night)  I just love it when she tells Michael J. Fox "I'm not at liberty to say."

And, of course, The American President was written by Aaron Sorkin, who wrote West Wing.

I also like Janie from The American President. My favorite line is when the President says, "I should send her some flowers."  Janie's response, "You already did, sir."  Classic!

Don't know if it counts, but Radar from MASH.  In fact, my nickname in my first proper job was 'Radar' due to my uncanny knack to getting stuff done before the guys in the office knew they needed it.

I liked Elaine from Ally McBeal ... loved the way she used to say "Snappish" when Ally got a bit annoyed!

Does anyone remember her crazy inventions?  The face-bra!!

I cannot remember her character name or who the actor was, but she was the secretary in Moonlighting.  You know, the one who used to watch both her bosses slam their doors as they did every episode to show they were not talking to each other (Bruce Willis was one of the bosses!)

Hope I am not showing both my advanced years or bad taste!!!
