Title: Saying Hello/Farewell at the Front Desk Post by: an9elloveu on December 03, 2010, 07:23:38 pm ??? So I'm always looking for different ways of greeting visitors who come into our office. Typically it's vendors, but lately, we've been having some higher ups come through (Physicians).
I wanted to create a list of euphamisms, catch phrases, greetings, etc. for welcoming visitors, saying goodbye when they check-out, and for co-workers who pass by my desk at least 3 or 4 times in a day. For example... Good morning Dr. so and so! Take care, Dr. So and so... How are you? Those are the typical ones, but I feel like they're overused. Do you have one you like to use? THanks! You know this is actually a very good question. When I read it I was like, what else is there? Closing I find easier to come up with different phrases, Have a pleasant day, Hope the commute treats you well, thank you for visiting, depends on the situation. Good morning is pretty standard, it is what you say after that maybe? Good morning, can I help you, Good morning what can I do for you? Good morning, you are here to see? That is what I come up with! I am interested to see what others say as well.
