I am currently learning Teeline Shorthand. Does anyone have any Teeline magazines that they no longer need? If so, please let me know. Look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks.

Jenny,
I learnt Teeline at college during my bi-lingual secretarial course and had no handbooks to speak of. It is not even taught any more where I am in Belfast so you may have search for this if you are having trouble finding what you need.
I achieved 100wpm and thankfully never use it - none of my roles required it altho I made sure of that as I didn't want to be a shorthand typist.
Best of luck!
G

There are loads of books you can get from amazon, either new or second hand. I got mine there 3 years ago. Maybe you can also try ebay.co.uk if you are registered. Just enter keyword 'teeline'.
All the books I have have been printed by Heinemann.
Good luck Beatrice

Hi there
Also, if you type 'shorthand' in ebay.co.uk, you will find (at least at the moment!) someone selling some dictation tapes as well.
All the best, Nicola.

Hi Jenny
I have just finished doing a 9 month Teeline Shorthand Course in Glasgow and I did not come across any Teeline magazines during this time. I used the Heinemann books that I ordered off Amazon on the internet. If you do come across any magazines I would be interested in acquiring copies of them myself.
Good luck with the shorthand!

When I learnt Teeline (about 14 years ago) there was a regular magazine available but I think they wee discontinued a long while back as I tried to find some a couple of years ago and drew a complete blank. There is the Trevor Burton Study Centre who do practice and speed-building tapes. You can either buy or rent these (like a library) - I used these at college and then bought some a few years back to "brush up". I found their website http://www.tbtrainingmaterials.co.uk/index.htm so maybe have a look, or give them a ring, and see if they can help. ---------------------------------- If you're using dc please visit - potofgold.utb420.net:420

Hi there,
I've got a couple of Teeline magazines from the early 90's and am happy to copy them for you if you're interested - they're really dated but good for extra practice and a laugh! Are you learning Teeline Gold?
Regards, Isibindi
