With our newly merged departments, I really don't know what we'll do. My gut is telling me that there will probably be some kind of potluck something-or-other, which is fine.
For gifts, with 10 more people this year, I'll just bake some goodies.
Honestly, and I realize this may make me sound like a Scrooge, but I almost wish my workplace would just forget about it. Combining that with all the end-of-calendar-year stuff that we have to do, and all the personal commitments, etc. etc., it just gets to be too much.
